On May 9th, the Avenue at White Marsh will be welcoming a new addition to its roster of retailers. World Market, a popular home decor store, will be opening its doors on that very day. With over 200 locations across the country, this will be only the second World Market in Maryland, with the other location being in Montgomery County.
To celebrate this new opening, a special ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. on the day of the opening. The festivities don’t stop there though, as free food and drink tastings as well as giveaways will be taking place throughout the day.
This weekend will see even more excitement as grand opening activities take place on May 11th from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on May 12th from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. World Market is known for its ever-changing selection of trendy home decor and furniture, as well as housewares, gifts, jewelry, and more. Customers can also expect to find a wide assortment of foods and beverages imported from around the world, perfect for any gathering.
The recent grand opening of Silver Diner on The Avenue has added to the growth and excitement of the shopping center, with World Market sure to be another popular destination for shoppers looking to add a unique touch to their home or find the perfect gift
