The Noida Authority recently announced that they have reclaimed 18 acres of land worth Rs 308 crore from land mafias. These mafias had illegally encroached upon government land and were attempting to sell plots to unsuspecting buyers. The Authority identified various sectors, villages, and areas along the Noida Expressway where these encroachments were taking place.

The anti-encroachment drive targeted villages such as Sorkha Zahidabad, Salarpur, Asadullapur, Mohiyapur, Sadarpur, Mamura, Garhi Samastipur, Gulawali, and Salarpur Khadar. These areas were heavily affected by land mafias who had illegally taken control of government land and were illegally trying to profit off of it. By reclaiming this land, the Noida Authority has not only put a stop to these illegal activities but has also saved the government a significant amount of money. The successful anti-encroachment drive serves as a strong message to those who try to take advantage of government land for personal gain.
