The Northeastern Varsity Eight has been named the CAA Boat of the Week for its impressive performance in the 2024 season. The crew, which includes Camille Arnold-Mages as Cox and Isla Bathgate as Stroke, finished fourth in the Grand Final of the Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond. Despite coming in behind several top teams in the country, including No. 7 and No. 13, Northeastern finished ahead of Boston University and Dartmouth and advanced to the Grand Final by winning their heat with a time of 6:55.658.
The 2024 CAA Rowing Weekly Award Winners also include UCSD V8 on Mar. 20, Delaware V8 on Apr. 9, Delaware 2V8 on Apr. 16, Drexel V8 on Apr. 23, UConn 2V8 on Apr. 30, and Northeastern V8 on May 7.
