The team emerged undefeated from the weekend tournament in Great Bend, Kansas and claimed the KCAC Tournament title with a 6-4 win over Kansas Wesleyan on Sunday.
Ashton Luera stepped in on the mound to close out the game, shutting down the Coyotes and securing the victory for the Eagles. Oklahoma Wesleyan managed to score four runs in pivotal moments across the fifth, sixth, and seventh innings. The defense held strong, preventing Kansas Wesleyan from scoring in the last few innings to secure the win.
