Hanover business suffers damages from morning fire

A fire broke out at the NAPA Auto Parts shop located on Routes 5 and 20 in Hanover on Saturday morning. The blaze, which was contained to the back of the building, prompted a response from numerous fire crews. Visible damage could be seen on the exterior of the structure.

The agencies that responded to the scene included Dunkirk, Sunset Bay, Silver Creek, Forestville, Chautauqua County Emergency Services, Hanover Center, and local law enforcement. Despite their efforts, the fire was not easily contained and caused significant damage to the building.

Luckily, no injuries were reported as a result of the fire. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation and further details are expected to be released shortly. It is unclear when the store will reopen or if it will be permanently closed due to the damage caused by the fire.
