Google has recently introduced a new feature in the Play Store that allows users to download and install two applications on their smartphones simultaneously. This update aims to streamline the process of downloading and installing multiple applications from the Play Store, making it more efficient and convenient for users.
In the past, users had to wait for each application to download and install before moving on to the next one, leaving the rest of the applications in a pending list. However, with the latest version of the Play Store app (40.6.31), users can now track the progress of simultaneous downloads of two applications both in the store and on the home screen. This new feature is limited to new downloads, so if a user selects more than two apps to download, the remaining apps will still be placed on a pending list until the first two are completed simultaneously.
Google has also addressed a certificate verification problem that was detected, ensuring a more secure experience for users. These updates demonstrate Google’s commitment to enhancing the user experience and improving the functionality of the Play Store for Android users. With this new feature, users can now enjoy a smoother and faster app installation process without having to wait for each app individually.
