Evezary, a leading South Korean bedding manufacturer, has teamed up with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST) to tackle sleep disorders such as insomnia and sleep apnea using advanced technology. Together, they aim to establish a sleep research center that leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to evaluate the quality of sleep.
This collaboration stems from research highlighting the importance of sleep in removing harmful substances from the brain, with sleep disturbances potentially leading to brain-related illnesses. The partnership reflects a growing trend among South Korean companies to enhance sleep-related devices and technologies in response to increasing awareness of the importance of quality sleep.
Evezary has invested one billion won ($747,384) in stocks for joint research projects, demonstrating their commitment to improving sleep quality and addressing related health issues. The company’s expertise in bedding manufacturing combined with KAIST’s technological advancements will enable them to make significant strides in developing innovative solutions to address sleep disorders and improve overall sleep health.
