Smart Accounts’ Safe finalizes acquisition of crypto business wallet Multis

Safe, a leader in blockchain smart accounts, has announced the addition of the senior leadership team from Multis to its Safe Ecosystem Foundation. This strategic acquisition is aimed at addressing the challenges of cross-chain interaction through network abstraction, making it easier for users to manage assets across different blockchain networks. The former CEO of Multis, Thibaut Sahaghian, will now serve as the network abstraction lead within the Safe ecosystem.

Meanwhile, Ordz Games has revealed that their new GameFi-meets-DePIN handheld device, called “BitBoy One,” was a huge success with its first 1,000 units selling out in just two minutes during a public sale. The device was launched in Paris, Hong Kong, and Dubai and was featured in Protocol Village on April 7. Protocol Village is a regular feature of The Protocol, a weekly newsletter focusing on the technology behind cryptocurrency.

Readers can sign up to receive the newsletter every Wednesday and submit updates to project teams. They can also listen to The Protocol podcast for weekly updates on the latest developments in the industry.
