Free family event ‘Viva Science SA’ hosted by UT Health San Antonio at Witte Museum on Saturday

On Saturday, the Witte Museum in San Antonio will play host to UT Health San Antonio’s annual “Viva Science SA” event. This free, public event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is aimed at enlightening, engaging, and exciting the community with science in an entertaining way.

Students from middle school to graduate level will present posters showcasing their academic research on various health and science topics. In addition, attendees can expect interactive and hands-on science booths with activities for all ages, as well as displays of science-themed artwork.

The event will also feature live entertainment, music, and food from popular food trucks. Viva Science SA was created with the goal of emphasizing the importance of STEM programs and making science accessible to everyone.
