This week, TCPalm is proud to present its Athlete of the Week program, where readers can vote for the outstanding athletes who have excelled in their respective sports. The voting poll will remain open until noon on Friday, and each winner will receive a unique shirt courtesy of BSN SPORTS.
We have received an impressive number of nominations this week, featuring standout performances from various sports. Talen Perez of Vero Beach stood out in boys lacrosse with seven goals in a regional quarterfinal win, while Kenan Willard of Vero Beach excelled in boys track and field by capturing first in multiple events.
In flag football, Dakota Moberg of Martin County shone with four total touchdowns in a regional semifinal win. Jazmyn Morris of Vero Beach dazzled in girls lacrosse with a stellar performance, and Addison Trotter of Master’s Academy impressed in girls tennis. Nyla Christian of Vero Beach excelled in girls track and field, and Hailey Brereton of St. Lucie West Centennial stood out in softball with a perfect game and multiple wins.
At TCPalm, we are committed to recognizing the hard work and dedication that these athletes have put into their craft.
