Shoe Tree Brewing Wins Silver Medal at World Beer Cup

The 2024 World Beer Cup recently recognized Shoe Tree Brewing Co. with a silver award in the American-Style Brown Ale beer category for its Lahontan Brown. This prestigious award ceremony took place on April 24 at The Venetian in Las Vegas, where winners were recognized in 110 different beer-style categories.

Shoe Tree Brewing is a 7-bbl brewpub located in Carson City that takes pride in brewing both classic and inventive beers. With a focus on international brewing excellence, the World Beer Cup acknowledges the art and science of brewing. This year’s competition saw an international panel of 280 beer judges from 37 countries evaluate a total of 9,300 entries from 2,060 breweries and 50 countries.
