The high school sports scene in Section III is heating up this weekend with a full lineup of baseball and boys lacrosse games on tap. Baseball fans can catch some exciting matchups, including Beaver River at Adirondack at noon, Central Square at Bishop Ludden at 1 p.m., and Marcellus at Onondaga at 7 p.m.

On the boys lacrosse front, there are several highly anticipated games that you won’t want to miss. Webster Schroeder will take on Cicero-North Syracuse, New Hartford will face Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, Liverpool will go up against Marcellus, Holland Patent will battle Syracuse, Tully will clash with Cortland, and more.

Girls lacrosse is also in full swing throughout the day, with Oswego taking on Carthage, Johnson City facing Cortland, and Liverpool going head-to-head with Marcellus.

If you’re a softball fan, you’ll be delighted to know that there are also some great games on the schedule. Marcellus is set to play Cazenovia at 10 a.m., while Pulaski will face South Jefferson at 11 a.m.
