Surfers Disappear, Found Shot Dead and Dumped in Waterhole in Mexico

Mexican public prosecutor’s office confirms discovery of three missing surfers with gunshot wounds to the head. The surfers, Australian brothers Jake (30) and Callum (33) Robinson, and American Jack Carter (30), were last seen at a popular surf spot in the north of Baja California, a Mexican region along the U.S. border. When they failed to show up at their Airbnb and didn’t report to work, a search was initiated.

One lead being investigated is a failed attempt to steal their pickup truck, as the vehicle was found burned not far from where the bodies were discovered in a 15-meter deep well. The families of the three surfers are present to identify the bodies. Local authorities arrested three individuals believed to be connected to the case, with one being found in possession of a missing person’s phone. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to unravel the circumstances surrounding the surfers’ tragic deaths.
