Canyon Crest Academy in the San Dieguito Union High School District was the highest ranked school in the area, coming in at No. 15 in California and No. 140 nationwide. Close behind were The Preuss School UCSD and Del Norte High School, which ranked at No. 2 and No. 3 in the county, respectively.
