Tragically, at the young age of 28, former NFL offensive lineman Korey Cunningham passed away. His body was discovered in his home in Clifton, New Jersey after police were called by a concerned family member who could not reach him.
The cause of Cunningham’s death is currently being investigated by authorities, but they have stated that there is no suspicion of foul play involved. Despite this, the loss of such a talented athlete has left many mourning.
Cunningham began his professional football career as a seventh-round draft pick for the Arizona Cardinals in 2018 after playing college football at the University of Cincinnati. He later went on to play for the New England Patriots for parts of two seasons before joining the New York Giants in 2021, where he remained for two years. Unfortunately, he did not participate in the NFL during the 2023 season due to unspecified reasons.
Despite his shortened professional career, Cunningham was widely regarded as one of the most promising young players in the league and his sudden passing has left many shocked and saddened by his tragic end.
