Bally Sports and Xfinity unable to come to an agreement before Wednesday’s Twins game

In the midst of negotiations between Comcast Xfinity and Bally Sports Network, Minnesota Twins fans face the possibility of losing access to their favorite team’s games. The impasse has resulted in Bally Sports Network being removed from Comcast’s lineup, leaving Xfinity users without access to programs broadcasted by the network. This includes games from the Twins, Wild, Timberwolves, and Lynx.

Comcast has expressed disappointment at the decision to go dark and has offered reimbursements to customers who have paid for Bally Sports Network. Customers could receive credits ranging from $8 to $10 per month due to this disruption. Diamond Sports Group, owner of Bally Sports Network, has yet to make a comment on the situation. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Twins are set to play the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday at 1:10 p.m., and fans who are affected by this dispute can still catch the game on DirectTV, Spectrum, and FuboTV.

Dustin Morse, a spokesperson for the Minnesota Twins, expressed disappointment at the disruption caused to fans by this negotiation between Comcast and Bally’s. He emphasized that the Twins have no part in it and urged fans to seek alternative ways to watch their favorite teams play while waiting for an agreement between Comcast and Bally’s is reached.
