UNDP leads the way with innovative training programs for a skilled workforce and sustainable green economy.

The Libyan Korean Centre and local stakeholders have partnered with the UNDP Libya to develop five training programs aimed at creating a skilled workforce that supports a sustainable and eco-friendly economy in Libya. These training programs focus on energy assessment, innovative building, recycling skills, municipal waste management, environmental health and safety, and circular economy entrepreneurship. The initiative was announced on April 15 as part of UNDP’s Local Peacebuilding and Resilience efforts to promote job creation for youth. The program is being implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation, with support from the Republic of Korea.
