The Palestinian Authority denied full membership in the United Nations due to US veto

The United States has been commended by the foreign minister for their decision to veto a distorted proposal that was rejected by the UN Security Council. Even six months after the October 7th massacre, the Security Council failed to condemn the crimes of Hamas, and Israel will continue to fight until all Israeli abductees are released and terrorism is no longer tolerated.

Three weeks ago, the Security Council adopted a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan and the unconditional release of all abductees. Fourteen countries voted in favor of the decision, while the United States abstained from voting, choosing not to use their veto power. The UN Security Council emphasized the urgent need to increase aid to Gaza and demanded the removal of all obstacles to aid transfer.
