UTPD is Set to Conduct Training at Behavioral Health and Wellness Center on June 8th

On Saturday, June 8, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., the UT Health San Antonio Police Department will be conducting law enforcement training at the Behavioral Health and Wellness Center. Located at 5788 Eckhert Road in San Antonio, the center is an important resource for the safety of the university community and the larger San Antonio Medical Center area.

During this training exercise, members of the community may see a large number of police vehicles, uniformed police officers, and officers in tactical equipment in and around the clinic. The UT Health San Antonio Police Department is committed to ensuring that its officers are well-equipped to protect and serve the community.

The department appreciates the understanding of the university community as they conduct this training, which allows them to better prepare their officers to protect and serve those who rely on them for safety. If there are any questions or concerns about this training exercise, please contact the UT Health San Antonio Police Department Communications Center at 210-567-2800, option 3.
