On Thursday, May 2, the University of Utah will hold its 155th general commencement to recognize graduates from Fall 2023, and Spring and Summer 2024 who have earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees. A total of 118 current or former Utah student-athletes will receive their degrees as part of this event.
The university is proud to announce that its student-athletes continue to graduate at an exceptionally high rate, with a 94% figure in the most recent NCAA GSR Report released in December 2023. This marks the sixth consecutive year that Utah’s score has been 93% or higher and ranks second in the Pac-12 behind Stanford.
The student-athletes graduating represent a variety of sports including baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cross country and track & field, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, skiing, soccer, softball, men’s swimming & diving, women’s swimming & diving, men’s tennis
