The 17th National Technical Innovation Award was held on April 23 to honor outstanding research projects that have been successfully applied in production and have brought high economic efficiency. The competition’s primary goal is to promote the creative labor movement, encourage research and innovative solutions, and contribute to economic development.
The winning projects were selected from six categories: Education and Training, Agriculture, Forestry, Fishery, and Environment, Mechanical Automation, Construction, and Traffic, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, Medicine, Materials, Chemicals, and Energy. From a pool of 587 applications submitted by researchers across Vietnam and abroad, six first prizes were awarded to projects that have made significant contributions in their respective fields. In addition to the first prizes, twelve second prizes were awarded for exceptional research in different areas of science and technology.
The contest also recognized twenty-four third-prize winners who developed innovative solutions that have led to improvements in various sectors of the economy. Furthermore, forty-two consolation prizes were awarded for outstanding achievements in specific areas of science or technology. The diverse range of winning projects showcases the creativity and innovation of Vietnamese researchers across multiple fields.
