Sacchi Deshmukh, a Standout on the Wayzata Girls Golf Team

This week, CCX Sports Spotlight features senior golfer Sacchi Deshmukh from Wayzata High School. Deshmukh has been a member of the Trojans’ varsity golf team since seventh grade and has consistently been in the top six lineup. She is currently ranked second in the state by the Minnesota Golf Association and finished sixth at the class AAA state tournament last year.

Deshmukh’s dedication to both her athletic and academic pursuits showcases her well-rounded talents and commitment to excellence. In addition to her golf accomplishments, she is also a talented violinist and an integral part of the Wayzata High School orchestra. She excels academically as well, earning straight As and scoring in the top 99% on standardized tests.

Deshmukh plans to further her education at the University of Texas where she plans to pursue a degree in chemical engineering. Her achievements on the golf course, in the orchestra, and in the classroom make her a standout student-athlete at Wayzata High School.
