Attention to all individuals with the name Kyle! The City of Kyle is extending an invitation to participate in breaking the world record.

The city of Kyle in Texas is set to host a Guinness World Record event on May 18 at the Kyle Fair. The goal is to gather as many people named Kyle as possible within the city’s limits.

To participate, individuals must register online or in person at the fair and provide proof of their first name “Kyle.” Variations of the name, such as Kyler, Kyal, or Kylee, will not be accepted. Middle names, last names, and nicknames also do not qualify for participation.

Last year’s “Gathering of the Kyles” event in Kyle, Texas brought together 1,490 participants from across the country. City officials hope to surpass this number and reach a new record held in Bosnia where 2,325 individuals named Ivan gathered in 2017.

The Kyle Fair A Tex-Travaganza will run from May 17-19 at Lake Kyle Park and features live music, food trucks, margarita judging, rib judging and other activities. Admission to the fair is free for all attendees.
