Austin Technology Council (ATC) is currently accepting nominations for its annual “Austin Tech Hall of Fame” awards ceremony. This event is part of the council’s efforts to recognize and honor the past, present, and future of Austin’s technology community.
The ATC is encouraging members of the tech industry to nominate individuals who have made significant contributions to the field. The goal is to highlight the accomplishments of those who have played key roles in establishing Austin as a thriving tech hub. Thom Singer, CEO of the Austin Technology Council, emphasized the importance of recognizing visionary entrepreneurs, community leaders, and innovators who have driven the city’s evolution into a tech powerhouse.
The inaugural induction ceremony and cocktail reception for the Austin Tech Hall of Fame will be held on June 4th. The event will honor six “legacy inductees” as well as present the “first-time founder award.” The selection of inductees will be made by ATC’s board of directors.
Scott Francis, founder and CEO of BP3 Global and board chair of the ATC, highlighted the significance of this program in recognizing the history of Austin’s technology community. He stressed the importance of connecting with the past in order to inspire and support current and future entrepreneurs in Austin.
