In the first game, the Cougars took control early on, with Jazlin Gottman’s single in the second inning resulting in two RBIs and putting them ahead 2-0. However, the momentum shifted in the second game as Stephens College dominated the third inning and took a 2-0 lead. Elise Kendrick’s hit drove in two runs and the Stars continued to build on their lead with three more singles by the sixth inning bringing it to 6-2.
