18 people hospitalized and one person deceased after meal

On May 6, a family in Hoang Dieu ward hosted a gathering to celebrate a wedding in Thai Binh province. During the event, they served a menu that included roasted chicken, braised shrimp, melon and eggplant soup, and goat blood pudding made from ingredients sourced from Ninh Binh. The blood pudding was prepared using boiled pig ears, liver, and throat, with each tray having a large bowl for guests to consume.

The following day, 19 individuals who attended the feast developed symptoms such as fever, digestive issues, and abdominal pain. One of them passed away due to sepsis and other complications.
