EA Sports is set to revolutionize the college football video game genre with its upcoming release. The game will feature a unique broadcast experience, adding a touch of realism to the gameplay. Kirk Herbstreit, one of the announcers who contributed to College Football 25, revealed that he and partner Chris Fowler won’t be the only voices players hear in the game. Instead, different broadcast teams will be assigned based on the importance of the game.
According to Herbstreit, there will be multiple broadcast teams that will change based on the significance of the matchup. He explained that different announcers will be featured depending on the magnitude of the game being played. Fowler and Herbstreit are known for being the broadcast team for ABC’s primetime game of the week.
Other ESPN colleagues such as Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Jesse Palmer, and Kevin Connors have also confirmed their involvement in the game. Davis and Howard are part of the College Gameday team, Palmer is a studio analyst and color commentator, and Connors is an anchor. Fowler shared that he spent 115 hours recording his lines for the game, including the names of 700 college football players.
