Jake Styes, a resident who lives nearby, was at school when the fire started and could only watch from afar as smoke filled the sky in the direction of his home. When he returned, he was relieved to find that his house and garage were safe but fearful of what could have happened if the fire had spread.
When Styes saw that no one was injured in the fire, despite a few people being inside the building when it started, he expressed gratitude for the quick response from firefighters from multiple departments. They managed to contain the fire and prevent further damage, earning praise from Styles for their efforts in keeping everyone safe.
