Gladstone BraveBots Robotics Team Competes in World Championship in Houston | Local Team Makes Headlines

The Gladstone BraveBots robotics team recently competed in the World competition in Houston, Texas and has returned home following their participation. The team earned a spot in the World competition after performing well in the state competition.

During the competition, the BraveBots competed on the Johnson Field and won their last seven games, finishing with a record of 8-2. They were the number 6 alliance captain and partnered with teams from North Carolina and California. Although they defeated the #3 alliance, they ultimately lost to the #7 alliance, who went on to win the tournament.

Coach Tim Barron commended the team for their hard work, particularly in scouting 125 games, and praised the senior members for their leadership. Barron expressed gratitude towards the mentors who dedicate their time and expertise to help the team succeed, acknowledging their importance in the team’s achievements.
