Helsinki Stock Exchange closes flat, SRV jumps over 14%

The Helsinki Stock Exchange ended with a slight rise on Monday, with the general index close to zero, up 0.1 percent at 9765.16 points. Approximately half of the most traded stocks were rising, and the other half were falling.

Valmet’s share ended with a 2.5 percent decrease to 24.18 euros, while Media Group PunaMusta Media announced changes in production that will result in layoffs.

Engine company Training announced an investment in filter cloth production in Brazil to meet demand from South American industries. The most traded stock of the day was the fuel company Inzile, whose share ended with a 4.0 percent increase to 25.67 euros. On the other hand, IT company Tecnotree saw a decrease of 4.9 percent to 0.27 euros.

Construction company SRV Companies also elected new board members, while energy company Fortum announced decisions made at its general meeting. ICT company Loihti announced share issues related to staff incentives, and SSH Communications Security elected a new board member at its general meeting
