On Thursday, May 2, the University of Utah will hold its 155th general commencement to recognize graduates from Fall 2023, Spring, and Summer 2024 who have earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees. A total of 118 current or former student-athletes from the University of Utah are set to receive their degrees at this ceremony.
Utah’s student-athletes have a long history of academic excellence, with a graduation rate of 94% according to the most recent NCAA GSR Report released in December 2023. This marks the sixth consecutive year that Utah’s score has been 93% or higher, ranking the university second in the Pac-12 behind Stanford.
The ceremony will feature graduates from a variety of sports, including baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cross country and track & field, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, skiing, soccer, softball, men’s swimming & diving
