Inter Miami CF to Unveil New Dolphins-Inspired Alternate Uniform

The Miami MLS soccer club, Inter Miami CF, has announced the introduction of a new alternate kit this summer. Instead of their usual pink at home and black on the road uniforms, the new kits will feature aqua with orange trim, inspired by the colors of the local dolphins. It is unclear if the Dolphins were involved in the collaboration or have given their consent to the use of their signature colors.

The use of aqua and orange in soccer uniforms has sparked some controversy, particularly in Houston where the Texans have had to navigate around the Titans/Oilers colors. Similarly, the University of Houston defied a cease-and-desist letter from the league over the use of old Oilers color in alternate football uniforms.

Despite any potential legal issues that may arise, Inter Miami CF’s new kits are set to be released in late June and will be available for purchase in July. Stephen Ross and other representatives from Inter Miami CF have yet to comment on any potential legal action that may be taken to prevent the release of the new alternate kit.
