Coming Soon: Archive Your Posts on Meta Social Network with Changes in Threads

Instagram’s sister app, Threads, is currently testing a new feature that allows users to archive their posts. This feature gives users more control over the content in their feed by allowing them to hide posts and recover them later. With this option, users can select specific posts to archive or set up automatic archiving, where posts are archived after a designated period of time has passed since their publication.

According to Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, archived posts can be unarchived at any time if users decide to make them public again. This feature is currently being tested as an option, so users who wish to use automatic archiving will need to configure it in their account settings.

In addition to the post archiving feature, Threads has also surpassed 150 million active users per month. Since its launch in July of the previous year, the app has shown consistent growth and has gained around 20 million new users since February. Overall, the addition of Threads to Meta’s social platform ecosystem has been successful, with positive growth and user engagement.
