Jacobs Financial Honored as Family-Owned Business of the Year

The St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce recently recognized Jacobs Financial as the 2024 Family-Owned Business of the Year. Jim Jacobs, a partner in the firm, took over ownership in 1992 after the company relocated to St. Cloud in 1979. Over the years, the business has expanded to include seven advisors and seven support staff, with plans to expand into the Brainerd and Maple Grove areas in the future.

The family-owned aspect of the business is important to Andy and Dave, two brothers who run the company together. They believe that trust is essential when working with clients, as their name is on the sign of their building. This commitment to doing what’s right not just for clients but for the community has been key to their success. Their relationship with the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce has also played a significant role in their growth, helping them connect with people and form lasting relationships within their community.

The St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual Business Awards Luncheon on May 1st, where Jacobs Financial will be honored alongside other award recipients including H&S Heating, A/C, Electrical and Plumbing for Small Business Owners of the Year and Jill Magelssen from Express Employment Professionals as Women in Business Champion. Tickets for this event are available online through their website.
