Tracking JMU Football Spring 2024 Transfer Portal Activity – Stay Updated with JMU Sports News

JMU Football is closely monitoring its spring portal activity to track transfers and player movements. While there have been no new additions as of yet, several key players have departed from the team.

Tyrique Tucker, a defensive tackle who played in all 13 games in 2023 and was projected as a starter in 2024, left the program with three years of eligibility remaining. Sammy Malignaggi, a backup running back and kick returner, also departed despite seeing limited playing time last season due to transfer additions at running back.

Versatile player Solomon Vanhorse also left the team, likely behind Ayo Adeyi and George Pettaway on the depth chart. Collin Carroll, a tight end who redshirted in 2023, left the program in search of more playing time due to a crowded tight end room at JMU. Wesley Bostic, an offensive lineman with three years of eligibility left, entered the transfer portal as a reserve lineman not projected to see significant playing time in 2024.
