Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff addresses small business support and reproductive rights during visit to Atlanta

In Atlanta, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff visited Sublime Doughnuts in Midtown to speak with owner Kamal Grant about supporting small business owners. Grant highlighted the challenges faced by small business owners, particularly in the Black community, where access to capital is scarce.

Emhoff then visited The Gathering Spot in northwest Atlanta to participate in a roundtable discussion on reproductive rights with young voters and members of the group Men 4 Choice. During the discussion, DeVon Lewis expressed concern for his children’s future and the changing landscape of America.

The former President Donald Trump has also visited Atlanta recently, making it a focal point for political engagement. Emhoff’s visit comes ahead of President Joe Biden’s upcoming commencement speech at Morehouse College. The Biden administration is actively seeking to connect with voters and engage in meaningful discussions on important issues facing the community.
