Roman Wilson, a former Michigan wide receiver, shared his belief earlier this month that Jim Harbaugh would select multiple Wolverines in the NFL Draft. As of now, only one Michigan player has been drafted, with the Chargers selecting linebacker Junior Colson in the third round with the 69th overall pick. Colson had an impressive track record at Michigan and was a pivotal player in their national title win last season.
Four other Michigan players have been drafted so far, and more are expected to be selected before the draft concludes on Saturday. Eighteen members of the Michigan team participated in the Scouting Combine, indicating that there could be additional Wolverine selections in upcoming rounds. It seems that Wilson’s prediction of multiple Wolverines being drafted is becoming increasingly likely.
