Elliot Page is set to appear in Western Massachusetts next month to support a local transgender healthcare organization. The Oscar-nominated actor and bestselling author will be participating in a benefit event for Transhealth, a medical group that provides primary care and gender-affirming hormonal care. The event, which will take place at the Academy of Music in Northampton on May 5 at 7:30 p.m., will feature a “fireside chat” with Page to celebrate Transhealth’s third anniversary.
Page, who publicly came out as trans in 2020, has been an advocate for transgender rights and has used his platform to raise awareness about the importance of healthcare for the transgender community. His appearance at the benefit event is expected to help raise crucial funds for Transhealth while also highlighting the impact of personal journeys in creating positive change in the world.
According to Transhealth CEO and President Dallas Ducar, bringing Elliot Page to celebrate the organization is a once-in-a-lifetime honor. Ducar expressed excitement about the event’s potential to support Transhealth’s mission while raising awareness about the importance of transgender healthcare. Tickets for the event are currently on sale, with prices ranging from $46 to $87 after fees. VIP tickets are also available for $274, which includes a meet and greet opportunity with Page.
