Rangers must reboot the stalled engine

The recent results of the Rangers team have raised concerns about their title prospects. In their last four Premiership matches, they have only won once, which has led to a dip in form at the wrong time. This is not just a one-off result, as the trend behind it suggests a more significant issue. In their last seven outings across all competitions, Rangers have only won twice.

The added burden of a successful League Cup campaign and a run to the Europa League last 16 may have contributed to this drop in form. However, Celtic’s own form has been patchy lately, with them dropping 15 points in 17 league matches since early December. If it were not for Rabbi Matondo’s stoppage-time equaliser at Ibrox, Celtic would have had a perfect record in their last four outings.

Despite this setback, there is still hope for Rangers. They are still the masters of their own destiny if they can steer themselves back to winning ways before they face Dens Park next weekend. The outcome of this fixture will determine whether or not Rangers will be able to recover from this bump in the road and secure the title.
