SGMC Health Marketing team members Kara Hope Hanson, Erika Bennett, and Taylor Fisher were recently honored with a Gold Award in the Podcast Episode category at the 2024 Hermes Creative Awards for their podcast “What Brings You in Today?”. This recognition highlights SGMC Health’s dedication to excellence in healthcare communication and innovation.
The award-winning episode, titled “What Brings You In Today – Ep. 5”, featured Joseph Hayes, MD, an Internal Medicine physician. The episode garnered attention for its insightful discussions on various health-related topics such as googling symptoms, supplements, anxiety, excessive sweating, and the importance of having a primary care provider.
Launched in January 2024, SGMC Health’s podcast has been a valuable addition to the health system’s community outreach efforts. Since its inception, the podcast has released eight episodes providing a platform for seasoned physicians and medical professionals to discuss important healthcare issues directly with the public.
