Sierra Vista Students Achieve Victory at Science Olympiad

The Sierra Vista Middle School students have won the Southern California Science Olympiad Championship Tournament for the third consecutive year. The tournament, which took place in April at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, attracted student teams from across the state to compete in various science, technology, and engineering events.

In the high school division of the tournament, Northwood and University high schools finished in second and third place respectively. However, it was the Sierra Vista team that emerged victorious once again. Comprised of 19 talented students, they demonstrated their commitment to excellence in science and technology with their impressive win. As a result, they will now advance to compete in the Science Olympiad National Tournament at Michigan State University later this month. This achievement is a testament to the dedication of both the students and their school, showcasing their passion for scientific discovery and innovation.
