Jackson Health Symposium to Showcase Gospel Choir Competition

On Saturday, attendees of the Mississippi State Department of Health’s “Be in Good Health” symposium will be treated to a day filled with soulful music and valuable health information. The symposium, which takes place at the Jackson Convention Complex from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., promises to be an engaging and inspiring experience that brings together health experts, gospel choirs, and free health screenings.

Eight choirs will participate in the competition, including Anderson United Methodist Church Praise Team, Pastor J Artie Stuckey & VOR, and Jemero Carter & Kingdomology.
