Karla Martinez and her husband Cristian run Birrieria La Tia Juana, a food truck located on Milwaukee’s Southside. The food truck serves traditional Mexican dishes in the area of 39th and Burnham. Karla is excited about the opportunity to showcase their business at Convention Fest, which will be held outside the Baird Center. Over 100 vendors will be featured during the four-day event, just steps away from the RNC venue.
Both the Host Committee and the RNC emphasize that Convention Fest aims to provide an inclusive representation of what Milwaukee has to offer. It is open to all attendees, regardless of political affiliations. Karla eagerly applied to be a part of Convention Fest, hoping that it will give her business a significant boost.
