Tornado Strikes Lancaster County Business with 70 Employees Present

On Friday afternoon, a tornado hit Garner Industries, a plastic injection molding service located in northeast Lancaster County. The building, near N 98th Street and Cornhusker Highway between Lincoln and Waverly, collapsed with several individuals trapped inside.

Three workers sustained injuries and were taken to area hospitals but are expected to recover. The remaining workers were transported to the Sandhills Global Event Center for safety.
