Texans move OL Kilian Zierern to the international/exempt list

In 2023, the Texans signed Kilian Zierer as a free agent. Zierer, a native of Munich, Germany, had played football since the age of 16 and quickly caught the attention of scouts with his impressive physical attributes. Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 304 pounds, with a wingspan of 83 5/8, Zierer was ranked as the No.1 JUCE prospect at his position when he signed with Auburn.

During his time at Auburn, Zierer started every game at left tackle for the Tigers in 2022. Despite going undrafted, he landed a spot with the Texans. Unfortunately, his time with the team was cut short when he suffered an ankle injury during training camp and was placed on injured reserve.

Zierer’s journey from being a late starter in football to catching the eye of top college programs and ultimately landing a spot with the Texans showcases his determination and talent. His potential is evident, and Texans fans can look forward to seeing what he can bring to the team once he recovers from his injury.
