Team USA Brackets finalized for World Olympic Games Qualifier in Istanbul by USA Wrestling

The US Greco-Roman team in Turkey is led by three of its top athletes, all of whom have won championships at the US Olympic Team Trials and are part of the US Army World Class Athlete Program. Dalton Roberts, a two-time US World Team member and Pan American champion, will take on Viktor Petryk of Ukraine in the first round, with a possible rematch against No. 1 seed Gevorg Gharibyan of Armenia in the quarterfinals. Ellis Coleman, a four-time US World Team member, will face Aliaksandr Liavonchyk of Belarus in his opening match and could potentially meet No. 4 seed Abu Amaev of Bulgaria in the quarterfinals before facing off against No. 1 seed Krisztian Vancza of Hungary in the semifinals. Kamal Bey, another US World Team member and Army athlete, will take on Sergei Kutuzov of Russia in his first match and could face tough competition from Tsimur Berdyieu of Belarus, Viktor Nemes of Serbia, and Iuri Lomadze of Georgia later on.

As they prepare for intense competition at the tournament, these athletes are determined to showcase their skills on the international stage. While they know that they’ll face strong opponents throughout their matches, they’re ready to bring their best efforts to each contest and come out on top. With their experience and talent, this Greco-Roman team is one to watch as they compete for glory at this prestigious event.
