Wide receiver Tyron Billy-Johnson has rejoined the Cowboys after spending last season on the team’s practice squad. He had visited with the team on Monday and his return to the roster was announced by the Cowboys on Tuesday.
Tyron Billy-Johnson has spent most of his career as a wide receiver in the NFL, making regular season appearances with several teams including the Texans, Raiders, Jaguars and Chargers. In 2020, he had 20 catches for 398 yards and three touchdowns while playing for the Chargers.
In addition to his work as a receiver, Billy-Johnson has also spent time as a returner while moving between different teams in the league. With his most recent regular season action being during the 2022 season where he made one catch for eight yards in two appearances for the Texans and played in two games for the Raiders.
Now that he is back with the Cowboys, Billy-Johnson will be looking to make an impact on the team and showcase his skills as a wide receiver once again.
