First look at the Rafale and a promise to air traffic control: “Croatian skies are secured. We are back…”

Today, on April 25, 2024, the Croatian Air Force made history as their pilots flying Rafale multi-purpose fighter jets entered Croatian airspace. The pilots had taken off from Bordeaux, France just before 11 a.m. and entered Croatian airspace in the Istrian County region around 12:00 p.m.

Upon entering Croatian airspace, the pilots sent a message to all Croatian citizens announcing their arrival. They declared, “We are now entering Croatian airspace, which will be even safer from today. Croatian Rafales and Croatian pilots have arrived home!”

The successful entry into Croatian airspace is an important milestone for the Croatian Air Force and showcases the pride and capabilities of their pilots and aircraft. This historic event demonstrates the strength and readiness of the Croatian military to protect and defend the country.
