In Sicily, employment consultants are actively seeking various professional figures such as commercial employees in the entertainment sector, opticians, orthopedic doctors, physiotherapists, experts in wages and contributions, personal assistance workers, family workers, and managers of orders. However, despite the abundance of job offers, 42.7% of the jobs remain vacant due to a lack of suitable candidates. This is particularly true in the tourism, services, and construction sectors.
To address this issue and encourage hiring among young people, women and individuals over 35 in the South SEZ area, the government has introduced a new “Employment Superbonus”.
