1,260 development projects in Cairo funded with 96 billion pounds

The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has announced the allocation of 96 billion pounds to implement 1,260 development projects in Cairo Governorate as part of the 2023-2024 plan. This investment is aimed at supporting the Sustainable Development Plan and achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030.

In a report on the Citizen’s Investment Plan for Cairo Governorate, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, emphasized the importance of community participation in ensuring the success of sustainable development initiatives at the local level. She emphasized that balanced regional development can only be achieved through community engagement.

By announcing the Citizen’s Plan for the fifth year in a row, the Ministry aims to raise awareness about the directions and priorities of the Sustainable Development Plan in Cairo Governorate. The proactive approach seeks to involve local communities in decision-making processes and ensure that development projects meet the needs of the people.
